We’ll get back to you promptly!
A: Yes! We are affiliated with Hall Oil Gas and Electric, and they provide quality HVAC service to any Oil Peddler customers who ask for it. Contact Hall Oil to get started with HVAC service today, and let them know you came from The Oil Peddler!
A: Check the top of our home page for the current prices. We also have other pricing options. Global oil pricing is unpredictable and can change daily, and can also differ depending on your payment method and delivery setup.
A: Just place a convenient online order when you need home heating oil, and we will deliver it either on the same day (if you call before 9:00 a.m.) or on our next delivery day. We accept cash and money orders, but our preferred payment method is through debit or credit card. For your convenience, we can keep your debit or credit card information securely on file for future use.
If you would like to switch to automatic delivery, our affiliate company, Hall Oil, can help you. This option offers a wider range of services than C.O.D. delivery, but the oil price per gallon can be slightly higher.
Please note that our delivery schedule can be affected by numerous factors, including but not limited to, your location, weather, road conditions, and previously scheduled deliveries. Every effort is made to accommodate your delivery request for the same or next day, but it is not guaranteed.
A: If you call before 9:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday during the heating season, we can offer you our same-day delivery service. Otherwise, you will usually get your delivery on the next business day. During the off-season, we typically set our delivery schedule to go east of our location on one day, and west the next.
A: The key issue is price versus service. It’s up to you to decide which one matters more. If you want to save more money, stay with C.O.D.
If service and peace of mind matter more to you, switching to automatic delivery makes the most sense. This will give you a service contract that covers your annual tune-up and a wide variety of common repairs.
With automatic delivery, we are the ones monitoring your tank level, and we will know when it is time to fill up. This is a service provided by Hall Oil.
A: Yes! The most popular is our volume discount: you receive our best price if you are on C.O.D. and order more than 150 gallons at a time. We often have other coupons available that offer additional discounts.
A: A typical heating fuel tank holds 275 gallons of oil. However, each tank is slightly different, and anywhere between 230 to 250 gallons is considered full. You won’t be able to put more than 250 gallons into a standard tank as there needs to be room left for air. Smaller and larger tanks are also available.
If you have a standard tank, make sure you are at or below 1/4 tank to receive at least 150 gallons of oil to get the volume discount and best price.
A: Yes. We will service your furnaces, boilers, and other equipment through Hall Oil.
A: Heating systems should have a cleaning or tune-up once a year. This is preventative maintenance similar to getting your car’s oil changed. If you have a service contract, this annual maintenance would be covered along with many other replacement parts and labor charges.
A: Every person’s personal preference and heating system is unique, and your equipment needs to be inspected before being granted a service contract. Service contracts are only available to customers who have signed up for our automatic delivery program.
A: Yes you can! We offer a wide variety of purchasing options through Hall Oil. You can secure your price for the whole season with an early buy. You can also secure your price for part of the season if you purchase just a few gallons.
This program can be very beneficial as prices often rise during the cold seasons. Locking in a price during summer or fall can save you a lot of money during this period. However, this is not always the case. Due to the volatile nature of the oil industry, there are years where the price falls during the heating season. By purchasing your oil ahead of time, you run the risk of being locked into a higher price. Fortunately, we do offer insurance against falling prices. Please contact us if you are interested in learning about your options.
